Terms of Use
In a nutshell. Dook Quest is licensed under Apple’s standard license agreement for apps (EULA), and these terms add the game’s own rules. The game is free to play, with optional purchases. Virtual items and Crowns can only be used inside the game. Nothing here takes away the rights that consumer protection law guarantees you. The clauses that limit rights are in bold.
1. Agreement and acceptance
Dook Quest (the “Game”) is offered by PDP Consultoria (Pansonato & De Paula Treinamento e Consultoria Ltda, CNPJ (Brazilian company registration number) 44.428.682/0001-03, Rua Atílio Biondo, 581, Parque Franceschini, Sumaré/SP, CEP 13170-460, Brasil) (“we” or “us”). The Game is licensed to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple EULA”). These Terms of Use supplement the Apple EULA with the Game’s own rules. If there is a conflict between the two, the rule more favorable to you applies, subject to the rights that the Apple EULA grants to Apple. These terms are available at any time on this site and in the Game (Kingdom Settings > Privacy > “Terms of Use” and the Shop footer), and you can save or print them. By using the Game, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Game. How we handle personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy.
Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the Game or for supporting it; those responsibilities are ours, as set out in the Apple EULA.
Consumers in Brazil: the Apple EULA clauses on governing law, venue and limitation of liability apply only to the extent permitted by Brazilian law. See section 13.
2. License to use
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the Game on Apple devices that you own or control, for personal and non-commercial purposes, in accordance with the App Store’s usage rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer (except where permitted by law), resell, rent or commercially exploit the Game or any part of it.
3. Free to play, with optional purchases
You can download and play Dook Quest without paying. The Game offers optional in-app purchases (Crowns, packs, cosmetics, passes and the VIP Monthly subscription) and optional video ads that give rewards. The rules for purchases, the subscription and chests are set out in Purchases and subscriptions and in What you get, which form part of these terms. No purchase in the Game has a random result: before you pay, you see what you will get.
4. Crowns and virtual items
- Crowns are the Game’s virtual currency. They can be earned by playing or purchased. Crowns and other virtual items (packs, cosmetics, passes, equipment, resources) are a license to use within the Game, not property or a monetary value.
- Purchased Crowns do not expire.
- Crowns and virtual items have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for real money, goods or services outside the Game and cannot be sold, transferred or given to another person or another game.
- This does not affect your refund rights under the law or under Apple’s rules (see Refunds).
5. Fair play
The following are not allowed: modifying the app or the save; using programs, scripts or bugs to obtain Crowns or paid items without paying; manipulating the clock or the save to get around purchases; or interfering with the operation of the Game or of third-party services. If we identify exploited bugs, we may fix them in updates and reverse the improper effects of those bugs. Legitimately purchased items will not be removed for this reason. If you think a fix affected you by mistake, contact support.
6. Content, updates and events
- The Game receives updates, which may change balance, fix bugs and add or adjust content. Some content (such as monthly events) is temporary, and the dates are shown in the Game.
- We will not materially reduce the benefits of an already paid item within the period it covers (see also Changes to VIP benefits). If we need to shut down the Game or a paid service, we will give reasonable advance notice in the Game and on this site and will respect the rights the law guarantees you.
- The Game works largely offline. Some features (ads, iCloud, purchases, event configuration) depend on the internet and on third-party services, which may be temporarily unavailable.
7. Your progress
Your progress is stored on your iPhone and, if you use iCloud, in your Apple Account. The Game makes backup copies on the device, but we do not have access to your save and cannot recover it if it is deleted from your iPhone and from iCloud. Purchases eligible for restoration can be recovered with “Restore purchases”. This does not remove our liability if the loss is caused by a defect in the Game itself (see section 10).
8. Ads
Ads are served by Google and are always optional. We do not control the content of third-party ads, but we ask Google for ads suitable for the Game’s audience. If an ad seems inappropriate, let us know. See the Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual property
The Game, its brand, characters, story, art, music, text and code belong to PDP Consultoria or its licensors and are protected by copyright law and other intellectual property laws. Third-party components (such as the Pixelify Sans font, under the SIL Open Font License, and third-party libraries) are subject to their own licenses. These terms do not transfer to you any rights in these elements beyond the license to use in section 2.
10. Warranties and liability
- We work to make the Game run well, but it may have bugs. If you find a problem, contact support.
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for failures caused solely by third parties (such as your internet provider, iOS, iCloud, the App Store or Google) or by use of the Game in breach of these terms.
- Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that the law guarantees you and that cannot be waived by contract, such as those under the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code (Law No. 8,078/1990) or the consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
11. Age rating and minors
Age rating: the one shown by Apple on the App Store in your country. The current rating is the one shown on the Dook Quest page on the App Store in your country.
No purchase in the Game, with money or with Crowns, has a random result: before you pay, you see what you will get. The only random rewards are free and cannot be bought. See What you get.
If you are under 18, use the Game with the guidance of your parents or guardians. Purchases require the authorization of the Apple Account holder. Parents and guardians can limit purchases with Screen Time and “Ask to Buy” in Family Sharing. If a child or teenager made a purchase without authorization, the account holder can ask Apple for a refund (see Refunds) and write to us: we will help as far as we can.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the Game or in the law. The date and version are shown at the top of the page. If a change is material, we will notify you in the Game before it takes effect. Changes do not apply retroactively to purchases already made in a way that harms you. If you do not agree with a new version, you can stop using the Game and cancel the subscription at any time, without penalty, keeping the benefits of the period already paid. A summary of each change is in the version history at the end of this page.
13. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. If you are a consumer in Brazil, you may bring legal action in the courts of your place of residence, as guaranteed by the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code. If you live in another country, you continue to have the protection of the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. Before taking any action, we suggest you contact us: most problems are resolved quickly. This does not prevent you from turning to consumer protection agencies (such as Procon, in Brazil) or the courts.
14. Language and contact
These terms are published in Portuguese (Brazil), English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. In case of any discrepancy, the Portuguese (Brazil) version prevails, unless a mandatory rule of your country provides otherwise. If a clause is ambiguous, it will be interpreted in the way most favorable to you, as the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code requires (Article 47). Questions, complaints and requests: ricardo@pdpconsultoria.one. We confirm receipt and reply within 5 days.
Version history
- 1.2 (2026-10-05): no purchase has a random result (sections 3 and 11). On the Chest odds page, now called What you get, and on Purchases: before you pay, the Shop shows the complete Mustelia Chest item (every attribute and the legendary effect) and you get exactly that item; if something changes before you confirm, the game does not charge you; the Starter Pack item may arrive at a higher level, never a lower one; the Forge, the extra card bought with Crowns also show the item beforehand; in the passes, the screen shows the next items on the shared chest list, and each premium claim shows the complete item before you receive it; the chest and Forge percentages now explain how the item lists are generated.
