Data deletion
Dook Quest has no account or login, so there is no account to delete. Almost all of your data stays on your iPhone and in your iCloud, and you can delete it yourself by following the steps below. If you need help, write to ricardo@pdpconsultoria.one.
Step by step
- Stop sending usage data. In the game, open Kingdom Settings (gear) > Privacy and turn off “Game usage data”.
- Delete your iCloud progress. On your iPhone, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Storage (or “Storage”) > Dook Quest > Delete Data. This deletes the save stored in your iCloud, including any step totals it contains.
- Delete the app. Touch and hold the Dook Quest icon > Remove App > Delete App. This deletes the save, the step totals, the widgets and the scheduled alerts on this iPhone. Repeat on any other devices that have the game.
- Subscription. Deleting the app does not cancel VIP. If needed, cancel it in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions.
Warning: deleting the save from your iPhone and from iCloud is permanent. We do not have a copy of your progress and cannot recover it. Permanent purchases can be recovered later with “Restore purchases”; Crowns and items already delivered cannot. The in-game “Restart the kingdom” option resets your progress but keeps Crowns and purchases, and does not delete your iCloud data.
Data outside your device
- Usage and diagnostics data (TelemetryDeck). This data is pseudonymized: it does not contain your name or your email address, and we have no way of knowing which data is yours. For that reason, we generally cannot locate it in order to delete only yours. It is kept for the period described in the Privacy Policy. If you wish, write to us and we will explain what is possible in your case.
- Ad data (Google). If you allowed tracking, turn it off in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. For the data Google keeps, see Google’s information and the options in My Ad Center.
- Usage summary for refunds (our server). This only exists if you turned on “Share a usage summary with Apple on refund requests”. Turn it off in Kingdom Settings > Purchases to delete the summary from our server; with no new uploads, it is also deleted within 180 days. See the Privacy Policy.
- Purchase history (Apple). This is kept in your Apple Account and managed by Apple. For requests about that data, use privacy.apple.com.
- Support messages. If you wrote to us, you can ask us to delete your messages. We may keep the minimum necessary when required by law or to defend legal rights, and we will explain why.
Deletion request
To request deletion or exercise your other rights as a data subject, write to ricardo@pdpconsultoria.one with the subject “Data deletion”. We will not ask for more information than we need to help you. See also Your rights.
